A NOTE ON YOUR FILES

Music is read from the folder you choose.

BLACKBOX stores its preferences and listening data in your browser, and can mirror compatible data to a connected BLACKBOX folder. The player has no account system, advertising tracker or analytics script. The optional GET LYRICS action sends track title, artist and (when available) duration to LRCLIB; it does not send your audio file. The website host may separately process technical request data to deliver and protect the site.

The Windows bundle includes the browser player, the original console edition, launchers, portable folders and a quick-start guide. Your music files are not included.
